Nothing to hide.

Radical honesty about what Skysmind is: what we collect, what we refuse to do, how we pay the bills, and how we handle safety reports.

What we collect

As little as possible. We design each app to work without knowing who you are or what you do in it, and we only keep data that an app genuinely needs to function.

The exact details differ from app to app, so the authoritative answer lives in each app's own privacy policy. For Nuvira, the privacy policy is at legal.skysmindtech.com/nuvira. If anything here ever seems to disagree with an app's policy, tell us at sky@skysmindtech.com.

What we never do

  • Use advertising trackers or third-party ad SDKs
  • Sell, rent, or trade your data
  • Build engagement-bait loops: streaks, guilt notifications, infinite feedsNuvira does have streaks, but they exist to get people together in real life, not to keep you inside the app. You earn coins by scanning people you meet, so the reward is the meeting, not time spent on screen.
  • Profile people to target or manipulate them
  • Hide how something works behind vague wordingWhere full detail would weaken security, such as exact security logic or encryption internals, we keep the specifics general. We still explain as much as we safely can, and we never word anything to mislead you. If something reads as misleading, email us and we will fix it.
How Skysmind makes money

Skysmind is funded by the software itself: paid apps and optional in-app purchases where an app offers them, and nothing else. We do not run ads and we do not monetize your data.

Skysmind is currently a small independent studio, so revenue is modest and that is fine. We would rather be small and trustworthy than large and compromised.

How we handle safety reports

Reports about abuse, grooming, harassment, or other harm are treated as the most important mail we receive. Send them to sky@skysmindtech.com and they are read by a person, not a queue.

We act on credible reports as quickly as we can, we keep what you tell us confidential, and where there is a risk to someone's safety we will point you to the right emergency or support resources. We will tell you what we did, as far as safety and privacy allow.

Our commitments

  • Privacy is the default, never a premium setting
  • We tell you plainly when something about our practices changes
  • We design against harm before a feature ships, not after
  • We respond to safety and privacy questions personally
  • We keep this page current and dated
